Training
The next UK training day will be 9th March 2012. Download a PDF to put on your noticeboard or see below for more details.
VetCell offer training to veterinary surgeons to ensure that the bone marrow aspiration and stem cell implantation procedures are followed correctly. This can either be in the form of one of our experienced vets coming to your practice to perform your first aspiration and implantation with you, or we hold training days for groups of vets where the procedures are demonstrated and there are opportunities to have a go yourself.
If you would like help with your first StemRegen case then please contact us. One of our vets can come to your practice and help you with both the bone marrow aspiration and also the stem cell implantation a few weeks later. The cost of this varies depending on where you are located but VetCell will cover half of the bill to share that cost with you.
Our next group training day will be held at the Royal Veterinary College's Hawkshead Campus on 9th March 2012. Professor Roger Smith will demonstrate how to perform a bone marrow aspiration from the sternum and the tuber coxae, how to implant stem cells into the SDFT using ultrasound, and will show how to use the E-PET (Equine Platelet Enhancement Therapy) system. This training will contribute towards Continued Professional Development points and a certificate will be provided. The training day costs £175 + VAT per person.
