Michael Anderson
Chairman

Since leaving Cambridge University, the City and London Business School, Michael Anderson has had hands-on experience for many years at raising finance, investing and managing in early-stage growth companies. He is a Director of Business Plan Services Ltd and a non-executive director of four other companies. He also gives regular talks on business plan writing and angel investment.
Greg McGarrell CVT Dip.M MBA 
Chief Executive Officer

Greg has significant experience of start-ups and management of SME's. He founded MedCell after running his own management consultancy and designing bespoke solutions for blue-chip clients. He has an MBA in Project Management and Diploma in Management and is an inventor listed on the first patent filed by the company. He is a founder member of both the Veterinary Practice Management Association and the Association of Emergency Veterinary Centres.
David Mountford MA (Cantab) VetMB MRCVS
Chief Operating Officer

David is a veterinary surgeon with significant management and consultancy experience. Before founding MedCell he held successful European, Middle Eastern, and Asian operational directorships; drove strategic planning and operational change management at an international level; and managed teams of up to 180. He is Hon. Treasurer of the British Equine Veterinary Association, and represents the interests of the industry to Government.
Raymond Spencer
Chief Financial Officer and Company Secretary

Raymond Spencer is a chartered accountant with a wealth of experience in guiding biotech companies through early to mid stage growth. Raymond qualified with KPMG and worked with a range of Biotech and Pharma companies before being appointed Chief Financial Officer at Antisoma in September 1996. At this time Antisoma was a small business about to enter a significant growth phase. Raymond played a key role in developing Antisoma, through flotations, major licensing deals and acquisitions, into the Company it is today. Raymond joined MedCell as CFO and Company Secretary in February 2009 to assist in the next phase of the Company's growth.
Dr Francis Pinto
Non-Exec

A physician with over 40 years of global experience in the healthcare industry, Dr. Pinto has extensive experience in research & product development and business turnarounds. Prior assignments include Abbott, Pfizer, BMS, board directorship with Glaxo Group Limited in the UK and Chief Executive of the Dutch biotechnology firm Pharming Group N.V. His current roles include Chairman of the Xandev Foundation.
Dr David Glover M.A. (Cantab) M.B. B.Chir. M.R.C.P. F.F.P.M.
Non-Exec

David specialised in cardiology before joining Merck Sharp and Dohme where he became Director of Medical Affairs. After four years at MS&D and eight years as Medical Director at Schering-Plough he joined the fledgling Cambridge Antibody Technology Ltd (CAT). As Medical Director/CMO David was pivotal to the development of the company through its floatation towards its eventual acquisition by the AstraZeneca Group.
Warren Roiter
Non-Exec

Warren is rated by The Legal 500 as one of the top 10 lawyers advising Pharmaceutical and Biotech clients in the UK. His particular areas of expertise relate to the raising of funds, the exploitation of intellectual property assets and mergers and acquisitions. Warren is a non-executive director of several cutting edge biotechs and specialist pharma companies. Warren acts for generic manufacturers, specialist R&D companies, specialist venture capital funds, biotechs, and University spin-outs.
Professor Roger Smith MA, VetMB, PhD, DEO, DipECVS, MRCVS
Non-Exec

A co-founder of the Company, Roger is a world renowned expert in tendons and ligaments. He is Professor of Equine Orthopaedics at the Royal Veterinary College and divides his time between tendon research, clinical work and MedCell.
Peter Raymond
Non-Exec

After eight years as the European Director of Corporate Development for The Dexter Corporation, a Fortune 500 Company, Peter started UMIST Ventures as the technology transfer company of UMIST establishing 20 spin-out companies and floating three on the LSE. Peter was chairman of Tepnel Life Sciences from 1997 until 2003. Peter has since been involved with over 50 biotechnological start ups at Sheffield, Manchester and Liverpool Universities and is currently Chairman of the bio Incubator for Liverpool University and the Biotechnology Steering Group for the North West Development Authority. He is a Vice President of The Parliamentary and Scientific Committee and was awarded an MBE in 2003 for services to the UK Biotechnology Industry.
